Atal Dulloo was named Chief Secretary of J&K by the GoI

Srinagar, Nov. 29: On Wednesday, the Indian government issued an order designating Atal Dulloo as the next Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir.

Arun Kumar Mehta, who is scheduled to reach superannuation on November 30, 2023, will be replaced by Dulloo. 

A copy of the relevant order is as follows: “Shah Atal Dulloo, IAS (AGMUT: 1988), who was superannuated on November 30, 2023, and who was repatriated from Central Deputation, is hereby appointed as Chief Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir, effective December 1, 2023, or the date of assumption of charge, whichever is later, and until further orders.”
