Srinagar 03 May : A Career counseling program (Day 5) titled “Bridging the gap between Academics and Corporate” was organized jointly by Wizkid EduCorp and Department of commerce yesterday on May 2nd 2023 in the Conference Hall of the college. Speaker for the occasion was Mr. Aaqib Parray (Senior Career Counsellor from Wizz Kid EduCorp and Chairman Helping Hands NGO). Dr. Suhaila Sakeen Khan, Head Department of PG Commerce moderated the session. THE worthy Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Neelofar Bhat, in her address focussed on the need of exposure and skill development in addition to regular academic activities. Mr. Aaqib Parray in his detailed interactive talk stressed on the need of Career counseling for college going students. He also spoke about the expectations of business organizations from college pass-outs meeting which should make them employable. The role of various career counseling organizations was also highlighted by the speaker, while addressing the large gathering of students. A formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Mehnaz Manzoor, wherein she thanked the worthy Principal Prof.(Dr.) Neelofar Bhat, Mr Aaqib Parray the guest speaker from WizKid EduCorp, Prof. Shabir Ahmad (IT Coordinator), Dr. Zuhaib Bazaz and Prof Nadia, for their support in the conducting the program.
