New Delhi, 3 July: An unidentified flying object, presumed to be a drone, was apparently observed above Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official home in the national capital early Monday morning, according to police.

The Delhi police got information from the Special Protection Group (SPG) around 5:30 a.m. that an unidentified flying object was sighted above the PM’s house in the Lok Kalyan Marg area. Officials declared the region a ‘no-fly’ zone.

“A report of an unidentified flying object near the Prime Minister’s residence was received at the NDD control room.” “At 5:30 a.m., SPG contacted the police,” the Delhi police stated.

“Thorough searches were conducted in the surrounding areas, but no such object has been detected thus far,” they stated.

The air traffic control room (ATC) was also notified, and they found no such flying object near PM’s house.

“At the moment, the police are investigating due to the sensitive nature of the situation.” “Things will become clear only after the facts have been verified,” authorities stated.
