Srinagar, Dec. 1: An official statement on Friday said that the grievance redressal program, which was set for tomorrow, has been postponed by the office of Director General of Police RR Swain.
“Due to a few unanticipated and unavoidable official engagements, the grievance redressal program scheduled to be held on December 2, 2023, at Police Headquarters, Srinagar, is hereby postponed,” the Jammu and Kashmir Police said in a post on X. We shall provide separate notice of the next grievance redressal meeting date at PHQ Srinagar.
According to the police, the information was released ahead of time to ensure that those who want to see DGP RR Swain in Srinagar tomorrow do not have any difficulties.
“People are once again requested to ideally have exhausted the option of approaching junior police units who are responsible for redressing grievances before meeting with the DGP, J-K,” the tweet said.
