15-year-old boy found dead after drowning in Ganderbal

An official has confirmed that Manigam Ganderbal resident Haziq Imtiaz drowned this afternoon in nallah Sindh close to Wayil.

On Wednesday, August 16th, a 15-year-old kid from the Wayil area of the Ganderbal district in central Kashmir was found dead in nallah Sindh.

An official has confirmed that Manigam Ganderbal resident Haziq Imtiaz drowned this afternoon in nallah Sindh close to Wayil.

A rescue mission to recover the boy’s body was launched shortly after the tragedy by police, SDRF, and local volunteers.

“The body was retrieved from nallah Sindh after frantic efforts,” he said.
