Ladakh, July 19: A fire incident early on Wednesday near the Siachin glacier resulted in the deaths of an Army commander and three troops.

A Captain rank officer killed and three soldiers were wounded in a fire incident in Siachen Glacier, an official told the news organization Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
The dead has been identified as Regimental Medical Officer Captain Anshuman Singh.
He said that three further employees had been successfully air evacuated for additional medical care after suffering second-degree burns and smoke inhalation.
“Condition of the injured is reported to be stable,” he continued.
