32-Year Old Man Taken into Custody for Sexual Assault of Minor Girl in srinagar

On Thursday, September 7th, police in the Srinagar district of Central Kashmir detained a 32-year-old man for the sexual assault of a young girl in the Parimpora region.

Umais Khan (32), the son of Mushtaq Khan, was detained for the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl, according to an official.

Parimpora PS has filed a First Information Report (FIR) in this matter (under provisions 7, 8, and 9 of the POCSO Act; FIR no. 140/2023).

The police have opened an additional inquiry into the matter. KS
