On Monday, seven Congress corporators of Srinagar Municipal Corporation united with Democratic Progressive Azad Party under Shafat Gaffar in the presence of DPAP Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad.
According to KNS, the counsellors decided to continue the party programme and that DPAP can bring the people out of instability. “We have resolved to repose our faith and trust in Ghulam Nabi Azad who as a chief minister has proven his capacity of serving people with integrity and honesty,” counsellor Shafat Gaffar remarked. They stated Jammu and Kashmir needs active leadership and Azad is ideal. We shall try to increase party membership.
DPAP’s vision and objectives may help individuals, they claimed. The DPAP chairman promised to never let his people down and achieve equal and inclusive UT development. G.M.
