A 9-year-old boy’s dead body was found in Anantnag

A 9-year-old boy from the town of Buchan Shangus in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir was found dead in a water ditch on Saturday evening.

Officials told them that neighbours saw the body late in the evening and told the cops.

They said the person who died was Numan Khursheed, who was nine years old and the son of Khurshid ah bhat, who lived in Nowgam Shangus.

A police officer said that a case had been opened and that a probe was underway.
