A 40-year-old man passed away on Saturday in the Shagund hamlet of Bandipora district in north Kashmir after falling from a willow tree.
Muhammad Ashraf Dar, a native of the same area, has been named as the victim.

Locals claim that Dar fell while climbing a willow tree close to his home at approximately 6 o’clock in the evening.
His family members took him to the local CHC Hospital Hajin after discovering that he had sustained major head and chest injuries.
But he was unable to live, and the physicians declared him dead.
The corpse was given to the family for last rites after the necessary medical and legal procedures.
