A landslip in Rajouri town damages a road

Ratnagiri, October 17: A key road outside the district court building that connects Rajouri town to the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch national highway has been badly damaged.

Tariq Bridge links the road from the Tehsil Chowk area of Rajouri town to the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch national highway.

Four-wheelers can’t go on the road in front of the district court building anymore because about 25 metres of it washed away, according to people who live there.

Several power poles that were placed next to the road have also been damaged, the locals said, calling for the road to be fixed right away so that cars can move around without any problems.
