A man was discovered dead in Bandipora village after being missing for eight days

Hajin, Nov. 4: Authorities said that a man’s corpse was discovered in the Nichair Nallah in the Banyari region of the Bandipora district of north Kashmir on Saturday after he went missing eight days earlier.

A police squad later arrived at the location and removed the corpse after an official informed the news outlet Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the body had been discovered by some fishermen in Nichair Nallah.

The dead were identified as Manzoor Ahmad Khan, a Paribal Hajin native and the son of Nazir Ahmad Khan.

He added that the dead had not been seen since October 26. He said, “After the legal procedures were completed, the body was given to his family for the final ceremonies.” [KNO]
