A 15-year-old girl from J&K was "abducted" by two Kashmiri teenagers who were detained in Nagpur

Srinagar, September 18: On Monday, Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) seized a user of social media for posting derogatory or hostile comments about slain DSP Humayun Muzammil.

According to CIK, “one Instagram user was detected posting derogatory and nasty remarks against Martyred Dy. SP of J&K Police Humayun Muzammil who, along with other army personnel, lost his life while battling terrorists in an encounter at Kokernag in Anantnag on Wednesday, 13.09.2023. According to a preliminary review of his social media accounts, the user is also posting material that glorifies terrorism, threatens security personnel, and uses racial slurs, among other things.

Irfan Malik, a 43-year-old JustDial operator and Chotta Bazar, Srinagar resident, has been identified as the user.

According to the applicable legal regulations, the social media user has been arrested and lodged in Police Station CID CIK’s FIR No. 07/2023. The FIR is being investigated for crimes of exploitation of social media, threatening security personnel, glorifying terrorism, etc.

According to sources, CIK is monitoring a large number of these individuals, and further arrests are anticipated once these people are located. KDC
