11 July, Srinagar: Zanskar police rescued a group of hikers who became stuck in poor weather on Monday, according to reports.

In a series of tweets, ADGP Ladakh said: “Trekking group after being stranded in bad weather were rescued by police party of Zanskar Police Station from Tsarak Dho near Zangla village & reached Padum safely”.

The police also advised citizens to take the current climate into account while making travel plans.
