A young man from Handwara who was hurt in a car accident dies at SKIMS

A young man who had been critically wounded in a traffic accident on Friday evening at the Badrah Payeen crossing in Kralgund in North Kashmir’s Kupwara District passed away on Sunday morning at the SKIMS Soura Srinagar. The accident occurred in Kupwara District.

Ikhlaq Ahmad Mir, age 18, son of Bashir Ahmad Mir, a resident of the Thokerpora region of Kralgund, was recognised as the person who passed away.
On August 4, Ikhlaq sustained life-threatening injuries while travelling on the Baramulla-Handwara highway close to the Badrah Payeen Crossing Kralgund. He was taken to the Sub-Sub Hospital District Kralgund, from where he was sent to the District Hospital Handwara. After being transferred there in serious condition, he was taken to SKIMS Srinagar, where he passed away this morning, according to police officers who spoke to a correspondent.

The dead person’s corpse was given to the deceased person’s rightful heirs so that they might perform their last rituals.

Regarding this particular matter, a file is already open and being investigated at the Kralgund police station.
