Abid Rasheed Shah, the Minister of Tourism, has passed away

Sad news: the death of his father, Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah

Syed Abdul Rasheed Shah, the father of Syed Abid Rashid Shah, the Secretary of Tourism and Culture, died away on Wednesday after a short illness. He retired as a Divisional Forest Officer.

Many people from many walks of life gathered at Peerbagh to pray for him as he was laid to rest.

On Saturday at 11 a.m., the Fateha (Chahrum) would be held in their ancestral cemetery Nishat, followed by a reception at J-55 Govt Quarters Jawahar Nagar in Srinagar.

Many members of the community have expressed their sorrow to the family and prayed for the dead person’s soul.
