After returning from Hajj, a pilgrim from Sopore passes away following a brain attack

Sopore, July 19: A Sopore resident who had just returned from the Hajj on Tuesday has died after suffering a severe brain hemorrhage.

According to reports, a Haji from the first batch named Ghulam Mohammad Gojree, who is about 70 years old and the son of Mohammad Ramzan Gojree of the Hygam neighbourhood of Sopore, experienced a brain hemorrhage at home. He was rushed to a neighbouring hospital right away, where he was treated before being sent for expert care to Srinagar Hospital.

The pilgrim’s condition swiftly worsened despite the efforts of the medical team, and he passed away this morning.

The deceased’s family member also informed that he passed away on Wednesday morning at the SKIMS medical centre in Srinagar.
