Shabir Ahmed, chairman of the ‘Al-Noor Yateem Trust,’ said that his organisation has adopted orphaned girls as their own, making it an annual practise to enable their marriages.

“Every year, we solemnise the ‘Nikah’ ceremony for each bride under the supervision of their legal guardians.” While ‘Nikah’ is a gift, we recognise that it may be a hardship for these less privileged females in today’s culture,” Ahmed remarked.

Another Trust member said that they methodically plan mass weddings and offer the necessary assistance to enable these couples to begin on their married journeys with comfort.

“Our focus is not on extravagant weddings, but we save that money to help those who are facing financial challenges in planning a wedding,” he continued.

The philanthropic endeavours of the ‘Al-Noor Yateem Trust’ have been made possible by the constant support of generous people who give generously to the welfare of society. Their dedication to make a change exemplifies the power of collective goodwill.
