Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his cabinet colleagues arrived to the new Parliament building on Tuesday, just after a special event concluded in the Central Hall of the old Parliament building, according to New Delhi, September 19 (IANS).
As they made their way from Central Hall to the new Parliament building, BJP MPs shouted “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” as they passed PM Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Minister of Transportation Nitin Gadkari and other cabinet members.At 1:15 p.m., the Lok Sabha convened in the new Parliament building, followed by the Rajya Sabha at 2:15 p.m.
An examination of the 75-year history of the Parliament kicked off the first day of a special five-day session of Parliament on Monday. For the currently underway session, there are eight bills.
