The last of the astronaut’s ‘A Call from Space’ appearances at Umm Al Quwain, when he addressed heads of state and space enthusiasts live from the Space Station, was accompanied by Dr. Al Neyadi’s father and two of his six children. The festivities, which took place in each of the seven emirates, attracted more than 10,000 individuals from all around the nation.

One of his kids, Abdalla, asked him what he enjoyed most about Earth. The Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre posted a moving video of the poignant occasion to their social media pages, and it has already received thousands of views. Dr. Al Neyadi said, “You are the thing I love most on Earth.”

“However, if you’re asking me what my favourite aspect of space is. We are in the microgravity environment, Abdalla, as you are aware. You’ll enjoy a lot of the things we can do here. Everything is within our reach, even travelling by air.

Rashid, his kid, then enquired as to if his father would be bringing back any presents for him. Dr. Al Neyadi had said before leaving for space that he would be bringing back a few of the kids’ toys.

Suhail, the plush toy that serves as the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre’s mascot, would also be returned, he promised.

He was questioned by members of the public, including a youngster called Mansour who inquired about the safety of youth in space.

After finishing his six-month research expedition, Dr. Al Neyadi, 42, will soon return to Earth.
