An IPS officer was transferred to the AGMUT cadre by the central government before his time

Srinagar, September 20 Inspector General Vidhi Kumar Birdi has been transferred back to his original cadre of AGMUT at the behest of the Central Government.

The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an order for the premature repatriation of Birdi to his parent cadre of AGMUT; a copy of this order can be seen with the news source Kashmir News Observer (KNO).

The IG of the CRPF at the time was an officer named Birdi who had previously served in the Jammu and Kashmir cadre.

The Chief Minister has requested that the DG of the CRPF inform him of the officer’s date of relief from duty—(KNO).
