The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Plus nations may communicate and work together during the annual meeting, which has been taking place since 2017.

The exercise will include many counterterrorism simulations, such as eliminating terrorist organisations in a protected location. The exercise’s primary goals are to improve and advance regional counterterrorism cooperation.

Along with enhancing collaboration amongst the other 12 participating nations, it would provide the Indian army a platform to share their knowledge and best practises in counterterrorism operations. The exercise is anticipated to benefit the Indian Army’s professional experience as well.
