Army kills two infiltrators on the Line of Control near Kupwara

19 July, Srinagar: Two infiltrators were killed by security troops on the line of control in Kupwara on Wednesday, according to authorities.
They said that the army and police stopped an attempt at infiltration at Khakhi Patch in Macchil Kupwara.

‘An attempt at infiltration was thwarted this morning by vigilant soldiers along the LOC in Macchal Sector, Kupwara, in a Joint Operation undertaken by the Indian Army, BSF, and J&K Police. Two terrorists were killed, the army tweeted.

Four AK-47 weapons, six hand grenades, and other military-related supplies were among the items mentioned in the tweet.
