In Srinagar, Oct. 14, Artemis Hospital held a press conference today to address regional concerns about serious liver disorders and highlight the hospital’s commitment to awareness and advanced medical care.

Srinagar has seen an increase in viral hepatitis, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, and cirrhosis.

Artemis Hospital is raising awareness of liver health, lifestyle choices, and liver disease prevention to address this health issue. These initiatives target communities, schools, and other institutions nationwide.


The hospital uses modern imaging and fibro scans to diagnose liver disease early. “Reknowned hepatologists and transplant surgeons lead our comprehensive liver care, including liver transplants. Artemis Hospital is the sole national laparoscopic donor surgery centre. The hospital provides information and counselling to help patients and families manage liver diseases, a statement stated.
