On October 8 in Chennai, India will kick off its World Cup campaign against Australia.

Leh July 8 (ANI): On Friday, the trophy for the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup arrived in the Ladakhi capital of Leh.


The prize was discovered near Leh’s Pangong Tso Lake and Shanti Stupa, where it was a brilliant beacon for visitors. The trophy made it to West Bengal on Thursday.

While touring with the trophy, Team India great Jhulan Goswami surprised and delighted students at Modern High School in Kolkata.
Beginning on June 27, the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Trophy will visit 18 different nations, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Malaysia, the United States of America, Nigeria, Uganda, France, Italy, India, and the United Kingdom.
The 2023 edition will be the first full-scale Trophy Tour since 2019, giving cricket fans all over the world a chance to relive the jubilant and carnival-like atmosphere of the main event.
One million fans will be able to get up close and personal with the coveted trophy thanks to the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Trophy Tour, which will include creative activations and events in various nations.


The Trophy Tour kicked off on June 27 in India, where it will remain until July 14. It will then move to other locations across the world before returning to the host country on September 4.
On October 5, in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, the defending champions England and the runner-up New Zealand will play in the first game of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, India, will play host to both the opening match and the final of the largest Cricket World Cup in history, which will take place from October 5 to November 19. There will be 48 total games played over the course of 46 days.

Bengaluru, Delhi, Dharamsala, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune are the other locations. While Hyderabad will host all of the exhibition games, Guwahati and Thiruvananthapuram will host the other two.
On October 15, the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the match between archrivals India and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.
The Cricket World Cup Super League has sent eight teams to the 46-day tournament, while the winners of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe will fill the other two seats.
All clubs will face off against one another in a total of 45 league matches, continuing the tournament’s traditional round-robin structure. All matches, including the knockout stages, will begin at 14:00 IST on match days, with the exception of the six-day matchups, which will begin at 10:30 IST.
The semifinals will be held in Mumbai on November 15 and Kolkata on November 16, and will include the top four teams. There will be backup days for both the semifinals and the championship. (ANI)
