Ashish Mishra takes over as SSP in Srinagar

Ashish Misra, IPS, assumes the position of Senior Superintendent of Police for the Srinagar district as of October 20 (GNS).

According to government order no. 501-Home of 2023 dated October 18, we, the undersigned, hand over or take over the responsibility of the office of the senior superintendent of police, district Srinagar, today, October 20, 2023.

Notably, Rakesh Balwal has only recently returned to his native Cadre, Manipur.

Ashish Mishra (IPS 2013) has extensive field experience in the Kashmir Valley, having served as SDPO Sopore, SP South City Srinagar, SSP Handwara, SSP Pulwama, and SSP Anantnag. He is renowned for his impartiality, professionalism, and morality. (GNS)
