Ashish Sood: The BJP is focusing on the 2024 Lok Sabha polls

Srinagar, October 18: Ashish Sood, a senior BJP official, said today that the Lok Sabha polls next year are the most important thing for his party.

A note to the press said that he was speaking at a party meeting here. The BJP leaders talked about different government programmes and how they would affect the people in the area, especially the poor, during the meeting.

Some of the top party leaders who were there were Ashish Sood, who is the co-leader of the BJP in J&K; Ashok Koul, who is the general secretary of the J&K BJP; and Sunil Prajapati, who is the president of the J&K BJP OBC Morcha.

The main goal of the meeting was to look at government programmes and how they help people, especially those who are in need.

Ashish Sood talked about the government programme called the “Vishwakarma Scheme.” With a budget of Rs 13,000 crore, this plan is meant to help artists and craftsmen in Jammu and Kashmir, mostly those from the Other Backward Classes (OBCs). He also said that it offers a lot of help for these standard jobs, from registration to financial aid.

The Vishwakarma Scheme is set to run for five years and will help about 30 lakh families of artists and tradesmen, such as weavers, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, and cleaning workers.

Ashok Koul, the General Secretary (Org) of the J&K BJP, said that the BJP government cares about the people. In his speech, he talked about programmes like the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, which helps poor people get banking services, and the Ayushman Bharat Card plan, which gives poor families free health care up to Rs 5 lakh per person. He said that these plans show that the party cares about the people’s well-being.

After the meeting, Ashish Sood, who is in charge of the BJP in J&K, gave a press conference to talk about what was discussed. The President of the J&K BJP OBC Morcha, Sunil Prajapati, and Manzoor Bhat, who is in charge of IT and media for the BJP in Kashmir, joined him.
