Authorities in Kashmir have released a timeline for power outages

16 October, Srinagar: On Monday, the government announced a new power restriction timetable for the Kashmir Valley in preparation for winter.

The Kashmir Electricity Development Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has said in the schedule, a copy of which is with the news organisation Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that there would be 4.5 hours of daily electricity restriction in metered areas.

It was specified that the 1-hour, 30-minute cut would occur in three shifts: morning, afternoon, and nighttime.

Additionally, there will be a regular 8-hour restriction in non-metered regions.
