9 August, Doda: On Wednesday, Ghulam Nabi Azad, head of the Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) and former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, claimed he was coming to the region to end people’s suffering and make the Union Territory’s economy one of the best in the world.

A news release states that during his 10-day stay in the Chenab valley, he spoke at this venue. He said that despite the state’s difficult and diverse topography, much of Utah’s economic potential remains unrealized and much of the state has not even been investigated. Jobs for the local kids would increase dramatically if only the Doda district’s resources and potential were used. He also made a promise: “Bhaderwah, also known as little Kashmir, would become the heart of economic activity if I am voted to power.

The head of the DPAP has remarked that when Kashmir sees an increase in tourist traffic, Bhaderwah becomes a hotspot for Bollywood productions. A big number of people showed out to hear him speak at public meetings in Pranu, khelani, and Bhaderwah, and many of them have since joined DPAP and committed to furthering the party’s pro-people programme, according to a news release.

He complained that previous governments had ignored the area and insisted that the results of his work as chief minister and Union Health minister were the only ones visible on the ground. My people’s leadership lacks vision, but I provide it. That’s why I left national politics and am now serving my own people again,” he said. Hundreds of people gathered in the Khilani neighbourhood to hear Azad speak as well. He said that the people are aware of their rights and have rejected traditional politics.

The era of taking advantage of the populace over sympathy problems and special favours is over. All eyes are on DPAP now because it promotes skill, handiwork, and honesty in its operations, and the people desire change so much.
