Speaking on behalf of the government, a spokesperson said that earlier, Deputy Commissioner Bandipora put together a committee with Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Umar Shafi Pandit, Asst. Director Food and Civil Supplies Bilal Ahmad, and OMC officers from BPC, IOC, and HPC. The committee met to talk about how to release connections and keep an eye on them.

According to the spokesman, the Bandipora District Administration was very interested in making sure that all qualified families could benefit from this scheme.

“All other districts of Jammu and Kashmir are also in the process of releasing new LPG connections, and the LPG industry members of IOC, HPC, and BPC are in touch with district authorities and food and civil supply officers to maximise the connections to eligible households,” explained the spokesman.
