The oldest lady in Bararipura, Amir Begum, 82, and her daughter Mahmooda Begum, also 82, were credited for opening the Army Helpline facility.

According to the statement, other attendees were the SHO of Bijhama, Inspector Irfan; Gulam Hasan; a representative from PHC Bhijama; and 30 families from other villages.

People were quoted as saying how happy they were that an Army hotline service had been set up, and how it sent a strong message of peace and harmony.

According to the statement, people complained to the Army about the lack of ambulance service and the considerable distances they had to travel to receive adequate medical care.

According to the report, the Army saw this need and so established a clinic to offer basic medical care and an ambulance service to alleviate some of the difficulties experienced by the local populace.

Bararipura, Uri’s issue redressal and hotline service is staffed around the clock and has an emergency medical treatment facility and an ambulance.

There will be no need for residents to go far to get medical care, and they may make use of ambulance services without delay, according to the announcement.

It was reported that about 10,000 individuals in and around Bararipura will benefit from the Army hotline service.

According to the announcement, “over 200 people” have received medical attention from the Army Helpline facility since its establishment and prior to the inauguration.
