Srinagar: Today at LD Hospital, the first session for minimal access surgery kicked off a two-day national conference on “Emerging Challenges in Obstetrics and Gynaecology” organised by the postgraduate department of obstetrics and gynaecology of GMC Srinagar.
Numerous high risk laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeries were conducted on the occasion by famous national laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgeons Drs. Hafiz Rehman, Milind Telang, and Nikita Trehan as well as medical staff from LD Hospital.
All participants, particularly postgraduate students, learned a lot, and it was good for the patients.
A paper and poster presentation was also held, giving delegates and postgraduate medical students from throughout the nation a chance to exhibit their findings.
More than 200 medical faculty members, delegates, and postgraduate students from several medical institutions around the nation attended the event.
