Big Update ! Female Drug Peddler Arrested With Contraband in Baramulla

Authorities in Srinagar said on Wednesday that they had apprehended a major drug dealer in the Baramulla area of northern Kashmir.

Continuing their “efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from society,” police in Baramulla have apprehended a “notorious and wanted lady drug peddler” and “recovered contraband substances from her possession,” according to a statement released to GNS.

Trikanjan Boniyar police obtained credible information about the possible existence of illegal goods in a residence. As a result, SDPO Uri ordered a police team from Police Station Boniyar to conduct a raid at the aforementioned residence. Herion-like material weighing 60 grams was found in the presence of a woman, later identified as Farhat Begum @ Fancy, wife of Trikanjan Boniyar resident Rayees Ahmad Khan, according to the statement.

She is now being held in PS Boniyar after her arrest.

The statement states, “Therefore, a case has been registered under relevant sections of law at police station Boniyar, and investigations have been initiated.”
