Visa status update issued: There is major news emerging about the granting of visas in Oman, and it seems that nationals of Bangladesh are no longer eligible to apply for visas. The Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced this new regulation on Tuesday, and it is effective immediately.
Here’s some news: the police have told us that visas won’t be issued to any class of Bangladeshi citizens. As a result, visa regulations have been altered. As of Tuesday, October 31, 2023, the new regulations are in force.
When did the regulations become applicable?
According to the Royal Oman Police, in the past, visitors from Bangladesh were able to change their visas to work permits.
If a migrant enters Oman on a tourist visa but later wants to work there, he must leave the country and come back on a work visa.
