Wednesday, July 12th, a vehicle going through the Bijbehara region of the Anantnag district in south Kashmir crashed into a tree, killing a young girl and injuring three others.
Injured were Burhan Ahmad (18) from Frisal, Kulgam; Abrar Ahmad Wani (19) from Nai Basti; and Suman (also 18) from Khanabal, also in Anantnag. The dead was identified as Anayat Jan (18) from the Naibasti neighbourhood of Anantnag town.
The four occupants of a car with the licence plate number JK02CS 3742 were injured today afternoon after their vehicle collided with a tree near Government Degree College Bijbehara, according to a government official.
One of the victims, named Anayat Jan, “was declared dead on arrival” at SDH Bijbehara, where the wounded were sent.
The incident has been noted, a police officer stated.
