Srinagar, Sep 10: Birch Blasters Burzahama won the current Akash Byju’s Jammu and Kashmir Premier League (JKPL) by 21 runs.
Birchi Blasters Burzahama batted first and scored 205/5 in 20 overs. Junaid Mushtaq and Sajad Ganie both scored 73 runs. Basit Bilal and Showkat Ahmad each grabbed two wickets for Spectrum Kings. The match’s finest effort came from Sajad Ganie, who was named Man of the Match.
Spectrum Kings scored 184/9 in response, with Saqib Maqbool scoring 36 runs. Sajad Ganie and Jahid Trag both grabbed two wickets for BBB.
The excitement continued in Akash Byju’s JKPL Season 2’s second match of the day. Batting first, the Bhat Lions were swept out for 141 runs. Ovais Shah scored 55 runs for the Bhat Lions. Umer Lefty grabbed three wickets for Alijana Cricket Club, and Ali Jana won by ten wickets in 12.3 overs. Vedant Bhardwaj made 90 runs, while Rohan Rathi made 49.
