Cab plunges into rivulet in Mendhar, injuring 11 people

Twelve people were injured today (12 June) in Srinagar after a car they were riding in crashed into a brook in the Mendhar region of Poonch district.

Eleven people were hurt when a car with the number plate number JK12 305 veered off the road and into the Gursai nallah, according to reports.

Rapid response personnel quickly fled the scene, transporting the wounded to Government DH Mendhar.

BMO Mendhar Dr. Ashfaq Ahmad informed GNS that some of the wounded had been sent to GMC Rajouri for expedited care.

According to a police officer, a First Information Report (FIR) under 279/337 IPC has been filed.
