In Bandipora, property belonging to a “terror associate” that was being utilised by Pakistani terrorists as a hideaway was seized on Thursday, according to the police.

Mehboob-ul-Inam Shah, the son of Inam-ul-Haq Shah of Nadihal, Bandipora, received a notification from the police attaching his property in accordance with Section 2511 of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act.

According to police, “the land that was attached measured 4 marla under Khasra No 384 and is registered in the name of Salam Shah, son of Naba Shah (the accused’s grandfather), under the “proceeds of terrorism” in case FIR No 112/2022 under sections 18, 19, 20, 23, 38, and 39 of the UA(P) Act and 7/25 of the LA Act.

Two Pakistani terrorists, Faisal and Haider, allegedly operated out of the bunker that was destroyed by an IED attack in November 2022, according to a police official with the special forces in Bandipora.
