Cemtac Stars defeat Mantaqi Cricket Club by 99 runs in the Bijbehara Premier League

As part of the current Bijebehara Premier League, Cemtac Stars beat Mantaqi Cricket Club by a score of 99 runs on August 23 in Srinagar.

In choosing to field first after winning the toss, Mantaqi Cricket Club decided to bowl. Mantaqi Cricket Club’s bowlers handed up a lot of runs and seemed to be completely lost. Arun Chaprana struck the first BPL century with 109 runs off of only 49 balls, while middle-order batsman Pramod Chandila added 63 runs off of just 24 balls to bring Cemtac Stars’ total up to 238 runs off of the allocated 20 overs.

The speed and spin bowling of Cemtac Stars proved too much for Mantaqi CC, who were eventually bowled out for 138, losing the match by 99 runs.
