New Delhi, September 13: On Wednesday, Chief Justice of India D.Y. Chandrachud and other justices visited a cafeteria on the grounds of the Supreme Court to have coffee and snacks after leaving a hearing before the Constitution Bench.

The judges conversed with the bar members over coffee.

A five-judge Constitution Bench, presided over by Chief Justice Chandrachud and made up of Justices Hrishikesh Roy, PS Narasimha, Pankaj Mithal, and Manoj Misra, heard the case regarding the legality of allowing someone with a light-vehicle driving permit (LMV) to operate a transport vehicle of the light-vehicle class with an unladen weight of no more than 7,500 kg.
