Udhampur: The Government College for Women’s Department of Geography hosted the G-20 Flag Banner Making Competition.
Six groups totaling 37 students from the third semester competed in the event. First place was won by Group 3, second place by Group 2, and third place by Group 1.
The chief guest of the occasion, which was planned under the direction of the college’s principal, Prof. Anjali Mahajan, was Prof. Mulraj of the Department of Urdu. She thanked the organisers for putting on such a fantastic event, and she congratulated the victors. He also underlined the need for more similar activities to be held in order to benefit students and advance the cause of education.
Prof. Tania Akhter (HOD English), Prof. Meena Gupta (Dept of English), and Prof. Shushma Kumari (HOD Dogri) made up the judging panel.
