Wani described the new enlistment as the result of the Congress Party’s pro-people policies and urged people to step up and join Congress in its effort to address people’s complaints.

In the hope that the new members would work hard to further build the Party in their various regions and serve the people to the best of their ability, JKPCC President welcomed hundreds of political and social activists into Congress under the leadership of social activist Irfan Ahmad.

Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the event, the president of the JKPCC said that political figures and staffers from various political parties are joining the Congress because they have come to the realisation that the BJP and other parties cannot accomplish what the Congress has done for the welfare of the populace and the inclusive development of India. He said that the Congress Party, regardless of a person’s race or religion, stands for the assurance of the equal development of all groups of citizens in the nation.
