Poonch, September 26: At Palera village in Mandi, Poonch, an accident involving the automobile they were riding in claimed the lives of two people, including a Selection Grade Constable (SGCT) of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. A kid was also hurt.
When the car was travelling on the Palera road in Mandi, Poonch, the accident happened on Tuesday in the late afternoon.
SGCT of the J&K Police Muhammad Sadiq, son of Faiz Akbar, and Jamil Khan, son of Muhammad Ayoub, both inhabitants of Palera, were killed when a vehicle (JK12C 6052) met with an accident and fell down a ravine.
The slain officer worked in the Ramban neighbourhood.
The accident wounded Muhammad Sadiq’s son, Nayeem Ahmad, who was hospitalised while police launched an inquiry and initiated medical-legal processes.
