CUK hosts a camp for eye exams

On September 18, the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) Health Centre and Department of Student Welfare (DSW) hosted a one-day eye check-up camp at the university’s Green Campus in Ganderbal in partnership with Sharp Sight Eye Hospital, Barzulla.

In the presence of the medical officers Drs. Sheeba Nazir and Abid Ahmad Sofi, the camp was officially opened by the Dean DSW and Finance Officer, Dr. Mehraj ud Din Shah. During the camp, over 150 students, employees, and faculty members took use of the facility, which included auto refraction and a check-up of the retina and eyesight. There was also an optometrist, Saqib, a technician from Sharp Eye Sight named Fayaz, and a medical assistant from CUK named Javed Ali.
