The District Bar Association of Chandigarh (UT) and Aryans College of Law (in Rajpura, close to the city of Chandigarh) hosted a conference on “Emerging Trends in Cyber Space” on 26 July in Srinagar.

Both Adv. Bhupinder Rana, Secretary of the District Bar Association, and Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman of the Aryans Group of Colleges in Rajpura, near Chandigarh, attended the event. The event’s keynote speaker was Dr. IK Walia, Associate Professor at Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL), Punjab.

Dr. Walia discussed many cyber-related crimes and challenges, and he said that in the vast and ever-changing internet, new patterns are developing that impact how “we interact and communicate.”

“These trends are driven by advancements in technology, changes in user behaviour, and increasing connectivity,” she said.

In her speech to the delegates, Dr. Anshu Kataria warned that the fast development of cyberspace also introduces new risks and weaknesses.Individuals and businesses may better safeguard themselves against cyber-attacks, data breaches, and other online security dangers if they keep up with the newest developments in the field of cyber security.
