Srinagar, Oct. 7: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Saturday that the administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has turned decades of ruin and harm into wealth.
In a statement released here, an official spokesman quoted the LG as saying, “We have transformed decades of damage and destruction into prosperity; created an environment for people to live life on their terms; provided the right conditions for businesses and start-ups to flourish; and provided the right opportunities for people to pursue their dreams.
He emphasised J&K’s transformation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the fastest economic growth within a few years, saying J&K is now synonymous with socio-economic miracles.
“J&K is offering the best incentives to investors and a plethora of investment opportunities in various sectors,” Sinha added.
He answered questions throughout the conversation and described the tremendous development seen in many different fields.
“J&K is currently well-known for its tourism. 1.67 billion tourists visited J&K up to September of this year, a 350% increase in international visitors over the same period last year, according to the LG.
He praised the young business leaders for their contribution to the development of the nation and their steadfast dedication to giving back to society, and he extended an invitation to them to join him on J&K’s development path.
Young professionals and YPO members in attendance at the event also discussed their experiences visiting J&K.
