Locals, other senior officials, and representatives of public entities also attended the inaugural celebration.

In addition to taking stock of the police station’s operations, the DGP examined the structure and spoke with the officers and jawans, he said.

The DGP told reporters outside the ceremony that the purpose of the visit was to officially open the recently built police station.

The structure bears the name of Dysp Himayun Muzzammil Bhat, a slain hero of the J&K Police. We also pledged to honour our beloved DySP with a memorial service that will live on for years to come. According to a police official, “he paid rich tributes to the martyrs of J&K Police and other security forces who sacrificed for the people and integrity of the country.”

He said, “We have lost many loved ones and seen property destroyed over the last three decades.”

“Our enemy becomes irritated when they see this place of peace and stability because they are celebrating death and destruction here and are constantly trying to sabotage the peace in J&K.” “J&K police are capable of thwarting their malevolent schemes,” the spokesperson said, citing the DGP.

In reference to the terror acts that occurred over the last two days, the DGP said that those involved would not be spared. He also stressed that an investigation was underway into both instances and that those responsible would soon face justice.
