On Wednesday, retired Major David Grusch of the United States Air Force called lawmakers to bring the federal government to account for its actions.

On July 27 in Washington, DC, a “whistleblower” alleged that the United States government is hiding extraterrestrial spaceships.

Major David Grusch, a retired US Air Force intelligence officer, urged lawmakers on Wednesday to call the federal government to account.

Grusch, who reportedly oversaw the research of UAPs (the military’s preferred word for UFOs) inside a US Department of Defence unit, has claimed that the United States has spacecraft of extraterrestrial origin, according to ABC, a US news site.

In the House Oversight Committee’s national security subcommittee hearing, Grusch urged lawmakers to “hold our government to this standard” and conduct a full investigation into the allegations.

As he took the stand, he said, “But as I stand here under oath now I am speaking to the facts as I have been told.”

According to Grusch, the chairman of a government task group on UAPs ordered him to catalogue all top-secret initiatives in 2019.

Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina asked Grusch whether or not human remains had been found in the wreckage of the extraterrestrial spaceship.

Biologics arrived with some of these recoveries, the ex-US Air Force intelligence officer claimed, adding, “Non-human and that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the programme I talked to that are currently still on the programme.”

Grusch also said he couldn’t publicly say when or who authorised the alleged programme because of how sensitive the details are.

Members of Congress have requested confidential meetings with Grusch and other government officials.

If the committee needs any recommendations for witnesses for their upcoming hearing, Grusch offered to give a “cooperative and hostile list of individuals in the government who you should talk to.”

The House Oversight Committee’s national security subcommittee hearing at which the comments were made was attended by members of both parties. Grusch, David Fravor, a former US Navy commanding officer, and Ryan Graves, executive director of Americans for Safe Aerospace, are the three witnesses.

Legislators have long called for more information on UAPs. Many people are worried about the threat that UFOs, or unexplained flying objects, represent to our country.

Lawmakers, intelligence officials, and military personnel investigating mysterious aerial occurrences have renewed calls for a nationwide investigation, and this hearing is the latest example of that effort.

According to ABC’s reporting from last month, the Pentagon said that they had not uncovered “any verifiable information to substantiate” the reports of crashed extraterrestrial spacecraft.
