This year, 1,87,014 yatris have visited the cave shrine.

According to reports from Srinagar on Friday, July 14th, 24,445 yatris made the pilgrimage to the holy Amarnath cave.

According to a statement released by an official spokeswoman, these numbers break down as follows: 17,583 males; 5,643 females; 993 juveniles; 220 Sadhus; 6 Sadhvis.

The official said that as of last Friday, 1,87,014 pilgrims have visited the Amarnath cave sanctuary.

The yatries have constant access to all amenities thanks to the hard work of the relevant authorities.

Jammu sees 7245 yatris depart towards Pahalgam and Baltal.

The 12th batch of yatris, totaling 7245 people, set off from Jammu base camp for Baltal and Pahalgam on Friday morning in order to make their way to the Amarnath cave temple.

There were a total of 7245 yatris, according to officials. Of them, 3144 were waved off at the Baltal base camp and transported in 101 vehicles, while 4101 were transported to the Pahalgam base camp in 125 vehicles under strict security measures. A total of 72,789 pilgrims have left Jammu base camp for Amarnath in the last 15 days, with a convoy of 226 trucks carrying 4880 male, 1936 female, 6 children, and 424 Sadhus leaving from Bhagwati Nagar.
