A rise from 42% to 46% in the allowance:

Up until recently, the Yogi administration paid DA/DR at a rate of 42%. However, with a recent bump of 4%, that figure is now at a healthy 46%. Workers will now get a total of Rs. 6908 in bonuses and dearness allowances.

The salary increase for DA will take effect on July 1. Along with this, arrears from July 1 to September will also be provided to workers and pensioners. The government typically announces DA increases twice a year. The first DA is implemented on January 1 and the second on July 1 of each year.
